Submission of abstracts is closed
30th april 2019: Full paper submission deadline (for accepted abstracts)
Abstracts will be accepted for oral and poster presentations, and shall be limited to a maximum of two A4 pages (including figures, tables and references). Please refer to the abstract template provided here for detailed guidance.
Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an email reply including a reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Please allow up to 48 hours for the reply to be sent to you.
On the basis of the abstracts received, a review will be done by the Programme Committee to select papers for the Conference and to determine the most appropriate format – oral or poster.
If an abstract is selected, at least one author must register for the Conference (before the end of early-bird registration) and present the paper. All authors are expected to meet their own expenses to attend the conference; this includes the conference registration fee, travel, and accommodation.
All authors are invited to submit full papers to the Conference and if they register for the conference, they may have their full paper considered for publication in one of the IWA scientific journals (Water Science and Technology, Water Science and Technology: Water Supply and journal of Water Reuse & Desalination) after a peer-review process. Please note that acceptance of a paper for conference presentation does not guarantee subsequent acceptance for journal publication.
All accepted abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings and will be distributed to all registered conference delegates.
